Sheryl Scharf

Sheryl specializes in photography, pen & ink drawing, painting & graphic design. My current work is evolving, incorporating drawing & digital painting as well as acrylic painting.

Dave Schotter

Dave started carving wood while assigned to Patrick Air Force Base in the early eighties. He started carving tikis from palm tree logs, then faces in driftwood and cypress knees. Now Dave carves mostly caricatures, Santa Claus (his speciality), Cowboys, Indians, Hillbillies, bears, animals, faces in driftwood, etc, using only knives, chisels and hand tools.

Gloria Schotter

Gloria has had a love affair with art since her first box of Crayola crayons 64 with the sharpener on the side. Her art career began with joining the Air Force as a Graphic Artist and continued as a DOD Navy Employee as a Visual Information Specialist in Hawaii. Her next journey in art began in Alaska as a Professional Picture Framer which continued until her retirement from Ben Franklin Crafts in New Albany. Since retirement she has been involved with the Artisan Center in Corydon as a volunteer and she loves it!

Linda Shoults has always been inspired by her natural surroundings and by an encouraging family. Her earliest artistic influence came from her father, Maurice L. Shoults, a commercial artist.

Artisan Center of Harrison County

Harrison County Arts represents local artists year round at its gallery, the Artisan Center. The Artisan Center also host four special exhibits yearly for regional artists in collaboration with other local not for profit organizations.

April Clark: Graphic Designer

April has been practicing graphic deisgn since 2001. During college she bagan working for a local photographer and then moved to the Harrison County Convention and Visitor Bureau in May of 2011.  Along with these positions she does freelance design and social media management for groups like the Arttisan Trail, Downtown Corydon Merchants, Main Street Corydon and several other local businesses.

Art at the Old Capitol (postponed for 2019)

Art at the Old Capitol consists of a selection of artists and vendors who will be located around the Historic Downtown Square.
